We plan to enhance the Telerik Spreadsheet for WPF with AI-powered querying capabilities. Users will be able to interact with data using natural language and quickly generate insights without relying on complex formulas or manual analysis. This will improve productivity in data-heavy scenarios.
We will introduce a new inline AI Assistant component that enables contextual actions such as rewriting, translation, formatting adjustments, and content refinement directly within the UI. This will streamline workflows by embedding AI-powered support into everyday interactions.
Microsoft will end support for .NET 8 and .NET 9 in November 2026. In alignment with this lifecycle, we will discontinue support for the Telerik UI for WPF distributions targeting these versions. While the current .NET 8/9 distributions are compatible with .NET 10, we will introduce a dedicated .NET 10 distribution once .NET 8 and .NET 9 reach end of support to ensure continued reliability and long‑term stability.
This transition enables developers to move forward with .NET 10 or later and benefit from ongoing platform enhancements, performance improvements, and security updates. By November 2026, we will also provide full support for the official .NET 11 release.
